I am having trouble with this boiler coming on. I can here the clicks while it is attempting to light the pilot, and I have an orange light, which goes out approx every 5 secs. The room stat is set to 21 degrees, I am correct in saying that if I turn this to zero and then return it to 21 degrees, should I here it click on. Also how can I test that a room stat is working.
I have blead the system. The only other thing that I have noticed is that at the top of the boiler there is a small fan fitted to the front of what appears to be an electric soloid, this small fan has two blades melted away, could this contribute to my problems. :?:
