ACS assessment

by ipla18 » Tue Sep 29, 2009 11:03 pm

Hi guys

I finished my level 3 in plumbing in june and passed!

I will be doing my ACS assessment in a couple of weeks, which i believe is a week intensive classroom training a couple days assessment.

I havnt really worked on gas much just helped with a few combi conversions and i mean a few. We mainly get bathroom work coming through insted of heating jobs etc.

So i was woudering have i really got any chance of passing my ccn1 or would i just be wasting my time???

Ive recently order the gas core pack to help which is great but will this be enough??

Many Thanks

Ian

The Bpec gas foundation course is ideal for anyone wishing to enter in to the gas industry for the first time.

Basically without working on gas, gas regulations and fault finding on boilers/fires/cookers/warm air units etc etc

Sorry if it seems blunt but you haven't really got a chance. However if you take everything in when you have the one weeks training you might scrape through - but would you be comfortable working alone on gas ?
