Shower doesn't stay switched on Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

New shower was fitted just before we moved in, but we can't get it to stay switched on- it's a deva shower unit, and no matter how we try it just switches itself off as soon as we take our finger off the button- any ideas why this is happening?
