Trianco Boiler Eurostar 100/125

by Trianco Boiler » Wed Jan 13, 2010 3:20 pm

I am looking for some advice. I have a Trianco Eurostar oil fired boiler. This is located on an outside wall east facing. Since November the boiler has been intermittingly cutting out. One engineer has told me that this is due to the fact that the boiler is affected by the wind which is causing the cutting out. Another engineer says that he maintains lots of boilers in the area and doubts whether this is the issue.

Does anybody have any ideas, could it be the wind, if so is it simply a case of putting in a chimney that pulls upwards rather than sideways.

Thanks for any help

Trianco Boiler,
Take the advice of the second engineer, you have an intermittent fault which will be an absolute devil to trace. Get the boiler serviced and see whether this cures the problem.
