water ingress in a prefab concrete garage

by lewp » Fri Jun 15, 2007 12:41 pm

Ive just moved house and the garage is an old precast concrete panels with a concrete floor. After last nights rain I noticed pools of water on the floor. There was no evidence of water leaking in from the roof and the majority of the water was around the walls of the garage. Is there anything I can use (even as a temporary fix) to stop this?
thanks

You can run sealant or a sand and cement fillet around the joint between base and floor

Thanks, I've run a fillet along the back of the garage where the worst seems to be and it appears to have worked. I'll give it a couple more days and then apply a rubberised sealant, just in case!
