Combi boiler overflow pipe/blowout pipe

by Sparkydelux » Mon Jan 25, 2010 9:02 pm

I will be having a new combi boiler fitted and would like to know if the copper pipe used to extend the overflow outside can be joined using plastic push fit connections.

Many thanks

Use compression or soldered, you could get 3 bar scalding hot water down this pipe. So you need to know the pipe is sound, and make sure it teminates - away from doors, windows, seating areas etc etc.
