Ive recently had a combi bolier installed. Previously it was an open system.
On the old system i kept getting air in one of the raditors.
I had to move a CH flow and return pipe in the kitchen to fit a new kitchen.
After moving these pipes i realised i added a inverted loop into the flow and return circuits.
I am not sure if this is the cause or a conincendce but I loose about 0.5 bar a day on the heating having to re-pressure.
This is now a sealed pressurised system and i am wondering if its bad practice to add an inverted loop to the flow and return circuit. this is not an inverted loop with a raditor, but the actual main circuit downstairs..
I think i have a leak else where in the system but the pipes downstairs are set in concerete and have been there a while.. seeing as i used to get a lot of air previuosly, it sounds like a conincedce..
My drain point is on the outside of my house via a15mm pipe.. Im wondering if this has got a small leak but i cant see it on the inside of the house without remove some plasterboard...
Any input/advice would be great..
