Planning approval about to expire

by tamsar » Wed Feb 03, 2010 3:12 pm

My planning approval for a small barn conversion expires in May. Building Regs has already expired. What buildings works count as having started the conversion? Electricity has been connected but apparently this doesn't count. Do I need to reapply for Building Regs anyway in order to start work?

tamsar,
Your original BR application will specify which works require BR approval eg structural work.
You may find that BRs have changed since your original application and this may cause you delays - consider applying for PP again.
end

Hi

Simply start the drainage. If the storm goes to soakaways, form a soakaway alone and get it inspected and you have officially started.

Bye.
