Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone can help me? We would love to put down reclaimed pitch pine flooring (T&G) onto a concrete floor. We have been advised to stick it down ratehr than float it?

One issue we may have is that the boards have all been stored outside. We have been informed that as pitch pine contains a lot of resin, this is not too much of an issue? Has anyone had similar experiences or should we avoid it lke the plague?

The moisture content of the board needs to be less than 7% and as a rule of thumb you should always stick or mechanically fix (nail) solid wood planks as they tend to move a bit.
