most important thing is to avoid getting adhesive on the paper surface - a clean pasting table is imperative.

cheers chris appreciated also do you neccesarily need to use a felt roller or will a normal hanging brush suffice whilst smoothing out

Hi mitch, as chris says the most important thing is try and avoid getting paste on the front of the paper and to use a heavy duty ready mixed paste. I would not use a roller of any sort myself as it may mark the flock. I would use a paper hanging brush but hold up a peice of clean lining paper between the paper and the brush to to help against marking it. Also unless you have a very good finish to the walls I would use lining paper on them, hanging it horizontally to avoid getting any of the joins in the same place place as the top paper.
