BUILDING REGS - POURING CONCRETE FOOTINGS - DWELLING

by worried73 » Thu Feb 11, 2010 12:20 pm

What is the Building Reg that stipulates pouring of concrete footings in a substantial house - 3 storeys?

Footings 6' + deep - on made-up land. Spoil estimated 150 cubic metres

Does the concrete have to be continuous or can it be poured on consecutive days? If the latter, what are reinforcing requirements?

worried73,
Your question is too complicated for a straightforward simple answer. Talk to your Building Inspector.
