Ground Investigation & Contamination Reports

by DannyB » Mon Feb 15, 2010 12:43 am

Hi Guys & Gals

Just looking for some advice re- the above.

Have had a notice of rejection of building regs plans from BC and one of the items raised was for a contamination and ground investigation report to be submitted.

We are building a 3b detached house on a garden plot, is it possible that a site investigation with the building inspector present would mean we could forgo the reports?

Has anyone any experience of this?

Thanks

DannyB,
I think you find that BC are looking for an independent report from a specialist firm. This will not be cheap!.
