adding new radiators

by kay-jay » Mon Feb 15, 2010 4:33 pm

Hi all

i'm thinking of adding a couple of rads, i have identified flow and return pipework. my question is.....

when i connect the new flow and return pipework to the existing circuit how can i stop the water in the heating circuit leaking everywhere? would i have to use pipe freezing kit and compression fittings? cos that would be pretty expensive...i need to branch into the flow once and the return twice!

or would i have to drain and refill the whole heating circuit??

hope somebody can help

cheers
