Plastic Cladding General problems, solutions, information and advice on fixing to walls of all kinds

Hi,
Does anybody know the best way to fix plastic tongue and grove to bathroom walls and ceilings.
A mate of mine is having his bathroom done out in it, i've never used the stuff and could do with a few ideas.

Battens fixed to the wall at 400mm centres then the cladding iis fixed with "Polypins". These are nails ( many different lengths) with plastic heads the same colour as the cladding.
