tileing a conrete/timber floor

by emlioy001 » Sun Feb 21, 2010 6:56 pm

Hello
Can anyone suggest the best method of floor tiling a floor with two different bases? I have a floor which is three quarters concrete and a quarter timber?
Many thanks in advance Ian

emlioy001,
You will have to board over the lot with WPB ply, make sure that the board joins do not line up with the concrete/timber joins.

use a flexible adhesive on the timber. board the timber section first if not already done so. you may need to bring the concrete up to level with a screed or levelling compound.
