I'm so worried after reading all the same information on several forums. I recently skimmed my walls and I'm prepping them for painting. I sponged all the walls to remove any dust and primed them with kilz 2 primer from Lowes. Little did I know that the primer or PVA should have be diluted 50/50 with water to create better absorbtion into the walls. What kind of issues am I going to face with this issue in the future with paint or the drywall itself? I originally bought the drywall specific primer and had the ceilings done but the painter I hired did not like the way it was applying. He said the coverage was poor and he had to go over the same area several times to get it just right. DUH... because the wall was absorbing the primer as it should be to get sealed properly. He told me to get Kilz instead for the walls because its thicker and rolls easier. Which he was right...I'm just afraid the sealing is not as good. Any thoughts?
