i am looking at joining a Part P domestic installers scheme with NICEIC.i have been told they are looking for two notifiable jobs that have been done in the last 12 months . i have a exiting ring main in the old colours . if i I.d the wires to the new colours back to the board and perform all the necessary testing and relative certificates filled .would this be acceptable for one of the assessments can anyone shed any light on this.

1 major 1 minor required with niceic so i would suggest this as a minor job and would also suggest that it would fill that requirement for assesment.the niceic , i am sure will give guidence on this , as its not worth your money or them turning up if it is not assesable.Cheers give them a ring Regards Jeff
