Can I fit an oven & hob in a corner?

by KatieD » Sat Mar 27, 2010 3:05 pm

Hi,

I'm currently planning my new kitchen, and what I'd ideally like to do is to have an 'L' shaped kitchen, with the gas oven and hob (integrated) placed in the internal corner, so that they face into the room. I have very limited space and this would be the most efficient way to use it.

So my question is, can I locate the hob in this way? Will it cause any problems with the hood? I have no idea how hoods work, but I know that it's possible to buy round ones, which presumably could be fitted into a corner?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks

KatieD,
I assume you wish to install the hob and oven at 45 degrees and there is no reason why you should not do this. You will need an extra worktop in the corner with joins both sides.
