Hi,

Have you gone junc box, switch and light or junc box light and then switch?

1. Run cable from junc box to SW, put the incomming L in common and out going L to L1. Join the two Ns together in a block. The cable to the light goes L to light L (not loop) and N goes to light N.

2. Run cable from junc box to light. L in loop and N in N of light. With a second cable, connect L to loop in the light and connect the N (sleeved/taped) brown in L in the light. Run this cable back to SW in attic. L in common and (sleeved/taped brown) N in L1.

Same result both ways. Light will go on and off at SW.
