Hi there.
I have had a home studio for some time. I have just moved from a house in the UK to an apartment (flat) in South Korea where I will stay for 2 years. I need to record overdriven guitars at fairly loud volumes. I was wondering what the best method of sound proofing wood be. I have been reading about isolation boxes heres an example (Google "amptone.com/diyisobox.htm"). It only contains acoustic foam and I was thinking the same box with a layer of rock/mineral wool in between the foam and the MDF should help a lot. Do you think this would work?
Does anyone have any other ideas? Also does anyone know a DIY company that will ship to South Korea as I am struggling to find the necessary materials over here.
Cheers
