I recently removed the heating element in the dryer set-up and couldn't get the replacement part until the following morning and under intense pressure from the other half begging to be able to wash that evening i put it back together without the element. When i turned it on it blew the fuse in it's switch. I replaced the fuse after i replaced the element and turned it back on and a spark came from the fan motor and blew the fuse again.
There are no obvious burn marks on the resistance pack of the motor and I would like to know if there's a simple fuse pack i could replace rather than the fan motor.
Or rather more simply how the bloody hell do I get the casing off? I had to replace the belt by just taking off the top cover which hurt ALOT!!!!
