Self locking Laminate Flooring

by Cut and Bruised » Mon Mar 12, 2007 8:27 pm

I am laying the interlocking laminate flooring 8mm thick as available in most DIY stores and am told it looks best if it runs towards the window.

The existing floorboards also run that way and are very slightly ie 1 or 2mm uneven. Would I be better laying the laminate at right-angles to the existing boards.

I am using a 5mm underlay.

It is a small bathroom and I am using flooring that says it is suitable for bathrooms
