Water droplets under floorboards

by Ultranol » Sun May 23, 2010 12:15 pm

Hello,

I live in a victorian terraced house. We have exposed wooden floorboards downstairs, with a drop to the ground below of around 30cm (less in some places). Some of the cracks between the floorboards are big enough to see through and if I shine a torch down I can see water droplets on the ground below. It isn't soaking, but there is definitely water there. Is this something I should be worried about?

Thanks

Ultranol,
Certainly needs investigating, check that the airbricks all round the house are clear and open to the sub-floor area.
end
