Imersion heater not lasting beyond six months

by Dockgreen » Tue May 25, 2010 9:37 am

Hi, I am having to replace my imersion heater almost every six months or less and yet everthing including the tank is new including the recent instalation of a water softener, however the problem did exsist before, I have noticed when I remove the old element is green.

Dockgreen,
Try using a nicalloy (or something similar) immersion heater element next time.
