how to remove white mastic between glass showersides & t Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

what can I use to remove white mastic from the gap between the glass shower panels and tray base, please? any ideas? is there a solvent/products that will not damage the tray?

The large DIY sheds sell a product which softens silicone mastic allowing it to be removed much easier. I'm sure you can get it elsewhere too.

It does sometimes need a second applicaiton and you must clean with white spirit before applying new sealant.
