by jonellery » Sat May 08, 2010 7:36 am

I LIVE ON A HILL ON THE COAST AND AM EXPOSED TO VERY STRONG WINDS, WHICH GAS DAMAGED FENCING 5 TIMES IN THE PAST YEAR.
I WANT TO REPLACE THE LOT (APPROX 50 METRES LENGTH BY 2 METRES HEIGHT.
I WAS LOOKING AT WILLOW FENCING, BUT AFETR 6 YEARS THIS STARTS TO DETERIORATE.
CAN YOU RECOMMEND WHAT I CAN USE AND THE APPROXIMATE COSTS???

You don't say what you want the fencing for so I'll assume it's just to mark out the boundary. If wind proof is your main objective then something open such as wire or cast iron railings would be best.

Hi, you could use a hit and miss pailing system. One board is fixed on the outside of the rail and the next on the inside, this allows air to flow through and it's a really durable system because there are very few water traps.
