Creating a small patio

by surfer » Tue Jun 01, 2010 8:55 am

We would like to have a small patio out back which will be approximately 14' x 16'. It would be plain cement or concrete as at a later stage we would like to erect a mall garden room (Google "norfolk-greenhouses.co.uk/shop/shop-infopage.php?longref=22~0") measuring 6' x 12'.
The average depth of the cement base will be about 8". Can any one give me a rough estimate of the cost of the cement base itself? Thanks.

Call local poured concrete supplier, tell them the area and the depth they will give price - delivered.

Hi

You need 4m3 @ about £75.00 to £85.00 per m3 = £300 to £350 quid.

Use a company with a mini mix truck or you may pay for part loads.

Bye
