Hello
Many years ago I served my time as a bricklayer and worked in the trade for a good few years. I then left the building trade and went into manufacturing.
Recently I have decided to try my hand at property development so I need to brush up my old skills as well as learn some other trades. I want to do as much of the work myself as I can. Plastering, plumbing, joinery and maybe electrics.
I've been looking for a good training corse I could go on that would teach me the basics and bring me up to speed with building regulations. Preferably close to my home in North Yorkshire. I've found a couple but nothing that really fits the bill. Does anyone have any advice and do the established property developers here think its worth doing or should I just jump in and learn as I go?
