Indesit dishwasher

by dshone » Sun Jun 20, 2010 4:50 pm

I have an indesit dishwasher which when switched on trips out all the electrics. Any idea if this can be repaired or not?

I guess it depends on what is causing the problem. Only an inspection can reveal the answer.

Tripping out the RCD in the consumer unit is caused generally by water in the electrics so it is most possibly leaking. With the dishwasher unplugged, pull it out and examine the pipes and cables for wetness. Check the floor it has been standing on for dampness.
