MOULD IN INTERNAL WALLS

by peakpilgrim » Mon Apr 12, 2010 11:35 pm

Hi all

Is there a treatment I can apply to a wall to stop mould growing.

I live in an old rendered stone wall house without a DPC and I have to paint the walls twice a year to improve appearances.

In the future I intend to dry-line the walls but for the present I must paint them.

I have dehumidifiers in the damp rooms, the gutterings are cleaned regularly, I have reduced the ground level on the outside and installed land-drainage but I am still getting this mould coming through.

Hi peak
well its really shocking that after doing such things, still you are getting molds.
may be some what of moisture is there. try to scratch out the molds with the help of cloth and brush. there are some anti sprays. spray it out on molds.
Do consult with a expert.
