Kitchen Floor

by maf67 » Thu Jun 21, 2007 11:35 am

Hi. I have just moved into a house where the downstairs bathroom has been moved upstairs thus creating a big kitchen. The problem is that 2/3 of the floor is floorboards and 1/3 concrete and ceramic floor tiles. If i want to level the floor do i screw down ply onto the floorboards and concrete sreen over the the old concrete?

Hi, Can you tell me the height difference of the two floors and if you are taking up the floor tiles.

There is no noticeable height differance, and i wasn't planning on removing the tiles
