Pebble Dash - visible extension join - best remedy?

by nikkilou » Mon Oct 12, 2009 4:39 pm

Hi,

We recently bought a 1930s house which has had a double storey side extension. The original side to the house had a decorative brick pattern running down it, and this is still visible through the white pebble dashing where the extension is joined on. Basically you can see its an extension from a mile off and we would like to remedy this in the easiest/cheapest way poss - any ideas??

There is a small bay window which effectively separates the join area from the rest of the house and wonder whether we could just re pebbledash this bit or would we need to re pebbledash or render the whole front??

Any advice would be great! Thanks
