garage conversion, flat roof ventiation

by helpar » Sat May 23, 2009 11:29 am

Hi
I want to convert my garage to a living room but don't want
to replace the relatively new flat roof so am looking at a cold
roof ventilation system. The joists on the roof run back to meet
the house perpendicularly so need some sort of ventiation
for the air gap here. Does anyone have good ideas, the flat
roof ventilators i have seem look pretty big .
Thanks
Helen

You will need to notify BC, so ask them.

Good,
they are the one's who sign the conversion off, and who have the final say, so as I have posted so many times before, it is well worth asking their advice, and complying with them. They are very helpful and will offer as many alternatives as they can, to comply with regulations.
