Marks on worktop

by gillbutler » Sun Mar 11, 2007 12:39 pm

I have had new worktops fitted but unfortunately the fitter then immediately went on holiday. There is a mark most of the way along my worktops and I am wondering what is the best way to deal with this.

It doesn't appear to be a scratch, it may be some kind of silicone or glue but I've tried everything to get it off and am worried I may now be damaging the surface.

Any suggestions?

Don't touch it until the fitter gets back. If you get it wrong you have ruined your guarentee.
