concreting cobblestones

by Jules547 » Sat Aug 09, 2008 3:31 pm

Help. I want to create an area (inbetween paved drive and plant area) where cobbles are laid in concrete, it is approx. 0.5m x 16m long.

- How deep should I lay the concrete
- What ratio for cement - does it really have gravel in it ! I thought it should be smooth? Can I buy dry/ready mixed?
- what quantity/size of cobbles are best - how deep to lay them?
- Should I colour the concrete?
- roughly what quantity of materials would I need?
- anything else I need to know!!

I look forward to the reply for novices!
