Repairing a drive with concrete slabs

by homesolutions » Wed Jun 04, 2008 8:59 pm

Hi there everyone, i have a little repair job.
The driveway that has got concrete slabs laid and a couple of them have come up.
What i need to know is what is the best way to repair them to get them back down and so they will not come up again.
They are on a drive way that takes a car as well.
Thanks in advance

hi there mix a good bit of concrete up,4 shovels of ballast,1 shovel cement not very wet just so it sticks together then put it all over the space you need to fill lay the concrete in do not compact it down lay your slabs so they are about 10mm high then give it a clout with a hammer ,if you have not got a rubber hammer then put a piece of wood on the slabs and hit it with a lump hammer not too hard mind you
