Plumbing in for a new en-suite

by Keen&Willing » Tue Jun 19, 2007 12:07 pm

I am installing an en-suite bathroom and I am at the stage of planning the pipe-work, hot & cold water to the sink and cold water to the WC.

The most convenient pipe-work is an existing power shower pump, supplying a shower in our main bathroom.

My question is "can I spur off the hot & cold feeds to the power shower for the needs of the en-suite"?

My fear is that there will be a detrimental effect, if the en-suite and the power shower are used simultaneously?

Brilliant.........made me smile on a grey and wet Saturday morning.

And therefore I'll stick in my twopenn'orth.....

Your new bathroom will work OK.....but it is likely to cause fluctuations with your shower supply if are using it and somebody else is using the bathroom at the same time.

But what are the chances of that ?.......put a lock on the inside of the bathroom door.
