thanks for that ericmark -not related to micromark are you? but if thats the case then why ever scince i was an apprentice back in the good ole days of 78 we were always told to wire 3 plate system and never put neuts in switches[what changed from then to now ericmark me ole mate].ericmark wrote:Yes where extra low voltage transformers are used it is common, as there is no provision to connect multi cables in the step down devices, so the switch backing box is used as a junction box.
