Shower base - PVC strip required, please help!!

by breezerali » Mon Aug 30, 2010 2:20 pm

Just had quadrant shower enclosure installed. Great job done. However, the shower base has been raised off the floor to allow for drainage. It is supported on a solid wooden frame. I now have a large gap around the base of the shower tray to the floor. Does anyone know where I can find a piece of flexible PVC which I can bend around and fix to tray to cover this unsightly gap? I have tried in vain at DIY stores and searched the net, please help!

Best place to go is a window firm, or a place that does upvc fascia and guttering, theres loads of UPVC Window places that will sell you a piece of plastic in many different widths, you usually have to buy a very long length like 16ft but its not dear around £10
