We recently had the building regs inspector around to sign off the extension we have had built. He told me that i needed to lay some gravel on the flat roof. Can i use pea shingle (size 10-15mm) & does anyone know what sort of area one of the bags from a DIY store would approx cover?

Each 25kg bag will cover approx 1 sq metre. Stick down the gravel on the edge where it falls into the gutter.
