Hi. My house was a terraced house but now is an end terrace due to having two houses demolished next door. Now my gable wall is only a single skin wall which I think is about 9mm. I would like too know if having insulation put in between exixting gable wall then rendering the gable wall is better or having the insulation put in and building a brick wall would be better?
Also if I was too have a brick wall built would it compromise the foundations?

Adding an outer brick skin will be better but you may need to extend the existing foundations.
