Hi
I've just had a shower tray fitted with a 50mm high flow waste and noticed a stagnant smell and the waste is filled (almost to the top) with water. The tray is a low profile 760 square sitting on 4x2 frame. While the plumber was fitting it I noticed that the pipe, running under the tray, exiting the waste to the soil pipe was slightly inclined (there does not appear to be much room under the tray). I never had an issue with the old tray but that was sitting about an inch higher. I'm concerned that the water will not drain quick enough and will 'sit' in the pipe under the tray. Do I ask the plumber to rip it out and raise the tray?
Thanks in advance.
