Torch on system 1st layer

by steadsy-boy » Fri Oct 15, 2010 9:55 am

I am renewing a flat roof on a Dormer using Bailey`s torch on felt my question is, the substrate is close boarded do i use a nailed 3B coat then a further two layers of torch on or bond straight to the boards, common sence tells me apply a nailed coat because of the gaps in the boards and to allow for movement , i have experience with roll and pour flat roofing but starting to move over to torch on so appreciate any advice, thanks in advance
