Changing a bathroomwaste pipe

by EmmaS » Wed Oct 20, 2010 9:44 pm

I have a shared household waste with my neighbour. I would like to know how do I cap off the existing waste pipe in the adjoining wall and put in an external independant waste for my bathroom and my kithen (which is directly below the bathroom). Please help as I would like to know who I have to contact regarding this, how easy would it be to do and would it be better to leave it as it is. Thanks.

Hi,

You can buy a kit that caps of the waste outlet from Homebase or Focus - It's easy enough to do, but is it worth it? Depends - does your neighbour unblock the drain if its blocked or do you?

Personally i'd leave it 8)
