I have in the kitchen some very old quarry tiles. When I was cleaning down the walls before painting them, I splashed sugar soap on the floor as I was cleaning with the result that it has now left terrible marks all over the floor. The droplets of sugar soap/water have stripped the glazing from the tiles and now look awful. Does anyone know if there is anything that I can do in order to rescue them? The tiles are at least 2.5cm thick so not easy to change. It would be a huge job and cost a fortune. Feedback and advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
