Grease stains on oak door DIY hints, tips and solutions to the removal and repair of marked and stained areas

I have had new oak doors fitted and am treating the bare wood with refined beeswax. In the meantime, one of the doors has managed to get what looks like a grease stain in a fairly prominent position. Does anyone know how I could remove this before waxing?
