Solid fuel stove

by samsonsoup » Thu Dec 30, 2010 5:43 pm

I hope I'm in the right catagory

Does anybody have any experience of removing a solid fuel stove from a tight gap?

Ours has finally given up the ghost, I managed to find an exact match on ebay two years ago just incase!

Trouble is we cannot get to the sides or rear because the stove is literally the size of the gap in which it sits. I've set about unscrewing anything and everything in the hope that that is the way to remove it, screws that haven't been screwed in 30 years take some undoing. Short of taking a sledge hammer to it, is there anybody that knows of a simpler way of removing it.
