Hi
I'm doing some work on the drains at the side of my house. I have found defects in the drain connections causing leaks, which I am sorting.
The 25mm MDPE supply pipe runs underneath the base of the inspection chamber and has a join in it which is hidden. I'd like to cut the pipe either side of the chamber and install a new length of pipe to bypass the inspection chamber, so I can be sure that the joints are good.
I was also thinking of putting in a T-fitting to take a branch off the supply pipe to run 20m to the back of my property for an outside tap at my garage.
Is there any issues with adding extra fittings to the pipe for this extension? Any potential loss of pressure in the house? Any other reasons not to do this? I have a combi boiler so just want to be sure.
Many thanks
Andy :)
