Are metapost spikes any good or fencing ?

My 6ft garden fence recently blew over in high winds (posts snapped, rotten) looking at best/easiest/quickest ways, do metaposts provide a good support ?

Best & possibly cheaper alternative is concrete slotted posts. My ones have been in 10 years now & are still fine.

metposts provide plenty of support but for a product that is supposed to make life easier they can be very difficult to get in.

it's hard to get them in plumb at the best of times, if you hit an obstruction underground such as a rock then it will normally kick off true to get around the obstacle. i'd go with concrete.
