Problem with shower, brand new. When u put power on to shower power light illuminated operates on cold, as soon as u turn thermostat to eco or high trips the earth protection on main board. If there was a problem with the mains/earth to the shower surely it would trip as soon as u installed the power? rechecked electrical connections to shower, is it the shower? had problems with triton before.

I'll guess an earth neutral fault. But way forward is to get back the guy who fitted it. Since it's reportable under Part P not worth doing it as DIY.

He should have provided you with paperwork to say what the readings were. What does this paperwork say under the insulation tests?
